NOLDOR

Reuel Tolkien (1892 - 1973), conocido autor de "The Lord of the Rings",
narra en otras de sus obras las épicas historias de los elfos de la Tierra
Media. Entre ellos, los Noldor eran quienes más se esforzaban en
perfeccionarse técnicamente. Esta búsqueda permanente del conocimiento les
permitió destacarse especialmente en la talla de gemas logrando la
creación de las más grandes joyas jamás imaginadas: los tres silmarils. |

tener una idea acerca de los Noldor y sus habilidades.
Noldor:
the Deep Elves, the second host of the Eldar on the
westward journey from Cuviénen, led by Finwë. The name meant "the Wise" (but
wise in the sense of possessing knowledge, not in the sense of possessing
sagacity, sound judgement).

Tolkien
Nació el 3 de enero de 1892 en
Bloemfontein, Sudáfrica. Después de participar en la Primera Guerra
Mundial, inició una carrera académica y fue profesor de anglosajón y
de literatura y lengua inglesa en la Universidad de Oxford. Sin
embargo, es más conocido como creador de la Tierra Media y autor de
numerosas obras clásicas alrededor de este tema, elaborando una
mitología propia. En este ámbito sus obras más conocidas son The
Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings y The Silmarillion. Tolkien murió el 2
de setiembre de 1973. Luego de su muerte, su hijo recopiló numerosos
apuntes, dibujos y escritos sobre la Tierra Media y los publicó con
los títulos de The Book of the Lost Tales, Unfinished Tales y The
Shaping of Middle-Earth.

NOLDOR®

Se fundó el 30 de
junio de 1995 con el propósito de prestar servicios a la industria en el
ámbito de las aplicaciones de radioisótopos incluyendo tanto estudios de procesos mediante el uso de radiotrazadores como la aplicación
de fuentes selladas de radiación a instrumentos de medición y control.
Este ámbito comprende el diseño, construcción, modificación y reparación
de equipos. Una extensión de los servicios de Noldor está constituida por
las mediciones de radiactividad natural en yacimientos de petróleo (NORM). Posteriormente se inició la oferta de cursos de capacitación
en seguridad radiológica de validez
reconocida por la Autoridad Regulatoria Nuclear.
El nombre Noldor y su logotipo son marcas registradas
en la República Argentina de Noldor S.R.L.
